check kerne supporten for eksempelvis parallel-ZIP drev - der skulle
du kunne se hvordan det kan programmeres. - Hvis ellers din par-port
chipset supporter det.

FreeBSD har det her:
/usr/src/sys/dev/ppbus/

(Det er iøvrigt lidt nuttet at Zip-drev monteres som SCSI-over-Parallel)
