Subject: Tunnel via SSH

Hi i have been triyng to make a tunnel between two FreeBSD boxes via SSH, this is what i did:
ssh -L port_that_i_wanna_connect_to_local:hostname_of_server_to_connect_to:port_on_remote_server_that_i_want_the_tunnel_to hostname_of_remote_server

i have tried this as root and non root, but the result is the same is tries to ssh to the remoste box every time.

Is there anogther way to make a tunnel or can this work.. or is it just me?
