Hej Liste,

Man kan blive træt af watch-dogs og cronjobs osv. for at holde daemoner
i live. På min FreeBSD box giver "man init" bla. denne interessante snip.

     Init can also be used to keep arbitrary daemons running, automatically
     restarting them if they die. In this case, the first field in the
     ttys(5) file must not reference the path to a configured device node
and
     will be passed to the daemon as the final argument on its command line.
     This is similar to the facility offered in the AT&T System V UNIX
     /etc/inittab.

Men både "The complete FreeBSD" og "The FreeBSD Handbook" giver kun
eksempler på
opsætning af terminaler. Så hvis en guru (ingen definitioner herfra) vil
dele
erfaringer eller eksempler på konfiguration af /etc/ttys til at holde andre
processer
i luften......
