Not really. Sometimes you can comment it out too for some short period of
time. But it's reasonable if you deal with speeds, say, like 14400 and
slower. Though sooner or later it'll start complaining about some problems
and one would be lucky enough if it complains about wrong port structure.

.. or if it complains at all instead of just wrongly building packages...
