Yes it works!
You haw to put this in your smb.conf file.
password server = EVILNTBOX
encrypt passwords = yes
And you also have to create the same users on the FreeBSD box. They don't
need login permissions, but samba uses the userid when tjeking file permisions.
Also remember to put EVILNTBOX in your /etc/hosts file.
