I'm not sure if this is what you were talking about, but I've got Samba TNG
doing authentication for Win2k Server/Professional (Samba is PDC, Win2k machines
join Samba's domain). There was little or no configuration required;
Samba uses my UNIX user accounts/passwords with no problem; It even
works for Win9x clients (Well Win98 SE anyway).
