Topics were:
DKUUG arrangements
Philippe Regnauld will talk about securing Internet services/servers on FreeBSD.
Jon Erichsen will motivate him and help him along to an as yet undefined extent.
Flemming Jacobsen will handle communication with DKUUG. An absolute date follows.
BSD/Dk t-shirts
Soeren C. Hansen will look into the feasibility (pricing, etc.) of
getting BSD/Dk logo t-shirts. He will mail the list later with his
findings.
Free FreeBSD CDROMs
Philippe Regnauld will look into the feasibility and problems
(copyrights, sponsorship of blank CDs etc.) of making free CDROM's from
the Walnut ISO image. He will mail the list later with his findings.
A "FreeBSD pitfalls" list
Soeren C. Hansen and Casper Niebe have volunteered to make a
list of "FreeBSD pitfalls" for new users to FreeBSD. Jon Erichsen, Flemming
Jacobsen and Philippe Regnauld will look at this list and prepare a new DKUUG
talk about select points and how to avoid/get around/solve them.
On a general note:
This meeting was very constructive, and it was nice to see some new faces.
Order was kept, beer was drunk.
