I dont know what you mean with (preferably with boot -v)?

FreeBSD vertion 3.2 instaled from the Walnut Creek cdrom
The Controler is a Asus sc200 based on a NCR 53C810 chip
The disk is a Quantum 9.1GB ultra wide 7200 rpm scsi disk. I will look up
the model if that is giving anything.

dmesg:
o:10ccd2a csi:16,92,e,49 asc:11,0
(da0:ncr0:0:0:0): Unrecovered read error sks:80,80
(da0:ncr0:0:0:0): READ(10). CDB: 28 0 1 c d2 1a 0 0 1 0
(da0:ncr0:0:0:0): MEDIUM ERROR info:10cd21a csi:16,93,6,35 asc:11,0

The last 3 lines was repeted a billion times or so. So i rebooted the
machine, and this is the output of dmesg after a fresh reboot.

I just rememberd. I overclocked the machine abouth a month ago, but i went
to Denmark just after, so the problem might actualy have existet since, and
i just noticed now that i'm able to log in as root again.
I will set it down to it's normal 200MHz, to see if that changes anything.
I doubt that it has anything to do with it, but just in case.
