Oh .. my memory weren't that rotten then :)

oh ok :) looking foward to it :)

well ... 128 Megs should be enough for starters :)

The primary functions needed of the firewall is :
- NAT
- Proxy Server (Caching)
- Security.
The security is very basic, don't let anyone in, and only let allowed IP addresses out.

sounds good .. :)
Theres 1100 possible users on this network, with a total of 411 Internet users (still growing with 2-4 new users a day :), some users have 3 or more machines...
We have a 512 Kbit Internet connection but it will possibly be upgraded to a 2 Mbit as soon as possible (the price is the biggest concern here .. any of you know of a 2 Mbit priced at 20000 dkr a month (FREE TRAFIC now heres the expensive part :).
I'm probably gonna recommend FreeBSD 3.0-R if the 3.0 doesn't go to stable before we get the router ... (i hope so :)
